STRAY ANIMALS or animals without identification are held at the Animal Services and Enforcement Center for five (5) business days to allow owners to reclaim them. All fees are charged per animal. Citation(s) for Code violations may be applicable, and are answerable to the DeKalb County Recorders Court.

All adoptions include a spay/neuter fee. The spy/neuter surgery is required by county and state law. Failure to comply may result in a $500 fine.
